- Original reporting and reported essays (1,500–4,000 words)
- Interviews with people doing interesting work
- Short, sharp opinions tied to a current moment
- Photo essays with a clear narrative
How to pitch
Send a short email to pitch@prism.example with:
- A 1–2 paragraph summary of the story and why it matters now
- Your proposed angle and any sources you plan to talk to
- Two or three published clips (links are fine)
Rates & timing
We pay competitive freelance rates on acceptance. Expect a reply within two weeks — if you don't hear back by then, assume it's not a fit and feel free to pitch elsewhere.
